Pokemon were series of animations and games which were made by a Japanese company “Nintendo”. Their newest game is called “Pokemon Go”. Pokemon Go is a mobile phone game application. Everyone can download the game on their smart phones.

The game has been published in Taiwan, and it has become the most popular game here. Everyone can play as a Pokemon trainer on the game, and there are 151 Pokemons in the game waiting for you to catch. The player can catch Pokemons anywhere, for example, your home, parks, roads, mountains, rivers, the airport etc. How can you catch them? You can use your poke balls to catch them. There are lots of Pokemons stations in the game, you can get supplies from those stations.

The game encourages people to go out and enjoy the game in public places, which is the main idea of this game. Some players play the game for entertainment, but some players are crazy. Crazy players don’t pay attention on their own and other people’s safety when playing the game. They rush to a place where rare monsters might appear no matter how dangerous it is. They even play the game while they are driving. That’s certainly not a good way to play this game. 


Why is the game so popular? For me, Pokemon was my childhood memory. I watched Pokemon cartoons on TV when I was a kid. I always imagined that I was a Pokemon trainer, too. It is very exciting to me that I have become a Pokemon trainer now, but I also remember that is just a game.

Pokemon Go is very interesting, but your real life is more important. Please play the game in the safe place and stay aware of your surroundings.
